I almost made some stupid culture-related mistakes when I was doing work for in a foreign country.  But my local friends saved the day!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I usually love an edgy campaign that works, but Drake’s D+ campaign is too tied to a negative emotion for my taste.  Duke ranks 9th in US News Report’s Best Colleges 2011 - which is how they got away with this type of campaign.  It got people thinking and talking about the university, and when they looked it up, the Duke had the chops to turn a joke into a real inquiry.  &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;If it was my campaign, I would have come up with a different tongue and cheek campaign.
